How to collect System Crash Logs on Mac for Coach Paint

If Coach Paint crashes, you may be asked to share your crash logs with the support team. These logs help us diagnose what went wrong and speed up the troubleshooting process.

Follow these steps to locate and share the crash log file with the support team:

1. Open Console

  • Press Command (⌘) + Space to open Spotlight.
  • Type Console and select the application.

2. Locate Crash Reports

  • In the Console app, open the Reports menu.
  • Select the Crash Reports section.

3. Find the relevant report

  • Look for a report where the process name is “java”.
  • Make sure the report’s date matches the time of your last crash.

4. Reveal the file

  • Right-click the report and choose Reveal in Finder.

5. Share the Crash Log

  • You will find a file with the extension .ips.
  • Send this file to the support team using Email, Google Drive, or WeTransfer.
