Automatic Pitch Calibration and Automatic Player Tracking Troubleshooting

If the Automatic Player Tracking or the Automatic Pitch Calibration are not working or appearing, there are a few things you can check from your side.

Step 1: Make sure that you have an Elite license

As you may know, Automatic Pitch Calibration and Automatic Player Tracking are exclusively Elite features, so make sure that this is your license from the begging.

Step 2: Download the AIPlugins from the Download Area

Make sure that you have downloaded the AI Plugins from the Download Area. In order to download them please, follow the next steps:

  • Go to “Coach Paint” or “Coach Paint Mac” (in case you have got a Mac)
  • Go to the version of the AIPlugins that match the Coach Paint version that you are currently running, for example, if you are running CP 9.1 search for the AIPlugins of that same version.
  • Download the AIPlugins
  • Install the AIPlugins

Once done this, try to import a clip and mark these options:

A green bar will start loading just after the clip is fully loaded, indicating that the clip is being calibrated. A blue bar will load after that one, referring to the player auto-tracking.

Step 3: Verify that the features are enabled from the Config Editor

If you still can’t see the features on your computer make sure you have these options enabled in the “Plugins” tab in the Config Editor.

If you don’t have them enabled, please check them, close Coach Paint (if you have it opened), and launch it again.
